Dubois College is not just an institution; it is a movement dedicated to higher education reform, Black economic empowerment, and community uplift. As we look ahead to 2026-2032, we remain committed to expanding access to tuition-free education, strengthening career-focused learning, and driving generational wealth-building initiatives.

Our 2026-2032 Strategic Plan outlines a bold and transformative path forward. It focuses on academic excellence, student success, institutional growth, and partnerships that position Dubois College as a national leader in culturally relevant, debt-free education.

Through strategic innovation, investment, and partnerships, we will continue to break barriers to education and provide career-driven, wealth-building opportunities for Black and Brown students worldwide.

Strategic Priorities (2026-2032)

1. Expansion of Tuition-Free, Career-Ready Education

Goal: Increase access to high-quality, debt-free education that leads to financial independence and career mobility.

Expand our degree and certificate programs in entrepreneurship, financial literacy, technology, public policy, and the creative arts.
Develop transfer agreements with HBCUs and partner institutions to ensure seamless credit mobility.
Grow our faculty and academic leadership, ensuring diverse representation and expertise in key disciplines.
Implement personalized academic advising to support student persistence and graduation rates.

Target Outcomes:
✔ Increase student enrollment by 50% by 2030.
✔ Ensure 80%+ degree completion rates through strong advising and financial aid support.
✔ Expand career-focused programs to meet industry demands and drive economic mobility.

2. Black Economic Empowerment & Wealth-Building Education

Goal: Integrate financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and cooperative economics into the core of every student’s education.

Strengthen our financial literacy courses to teach wealth-building, investing, and cooperative economics.
Establish a Black Entrepreneurship Incubator to support student-led businesses and startups.
Partner with corporations, Black-owned businesses, and investment firms to offer funding, mentorship, and career placements.
Launch a Homeownership & Real Estate Certificate Program to prepare students for property investment and ownership.

Target Outcomes:
✔ 75% of students will complete a financial literacy program before graduation.
✔ At least 30% of graduates will launch businesses or startups with support from Dubois College.
✔ Secure $5 million+ in funding partnerships for student-led business initiatives.

3. Digital Transformation & Online Learning Excellence

Goal: Develop a fully digital, interactive, and accessible learning experience for students worldwide.

Implement state-of-the-art learning management systems (LMS) with AI-driven tutoring and student tracking.
Develop flexible, self-paced, and live-online course options to accommodate diverse learning needs.
Invest in cybersecurity and IT infrastructure to enhance data protection and student privacy.
Launch a mobile-friendly learning platform for global accessibility.

Target Outcomes:
✔ Ensure that 90% of all courses are available digitally and asynchronously by 2028.
✔ Increase student engagement in online career labs, virtual internships, and networking events.
✔ Build a cybersecurity-certified IT system to protect student and institutional data.

4. Strengthening HBCU & Industry Partnerships

Goal: Expand strategic alliances with HBCUs, corporations, and nonprofits to enhance student opportunities.

Formalize transfer agreements with at least 10 HBCUs by 2027.
Develop cooperative programs with industry leaders in technology, business, healthcare, and media.
Increase internship and apprenticeship placements for students in high-demand careers.
Expand access to global learning opportunities, study abroad programs, and corporate-sponsored fellowships.

Target Outcomes:
✔ Establish at least 50 active corporate partnerships by 2030.
✔ Secure $10 million in grants and funding for academic and career initiatives.
✔ Ensure 75% of students graduate with at least one paid internship or fellowship experience.

5. Community Engagement & Social Impact

Goal: Strengthen the connection between Dubois College, local communities, and global Black networks.

Establish community service and advocacy programs tied to student coursework.
Launch the Dubois College Institute for Social Justice & Policy, conducting research on racial equity, education reform, and wealth disparities.
Provide free educational workshops, financial literacy training, and community investment programs.
Develop a network of alumni mentors to support future students in career development.

Target Outcomes:
✔ Engage 100,000+ community members in free educational and financial literacy programs by 2032.
✔ Publish groundbreaking research on Black wealth-building, education access, and social mobility.
✔ Increase alumni involvement in mentorship and professional development initiatives.

6. Institutional Growth & Financial Sustainability

Goal: Secure funding and operational efficiency to support long-term sustainability and expansion.

Grow philanthropic donations, endowments, and corporate sponsorships to sustain tuition-free education.
Implement financial planning strategies to ensure long-term operational efficiency.
Strengthen faculty recruitment and professional development to attract top educators.
Expand campus resources, research centers, and technological infrastructure.

Target Outcomes:
✔ Raise $50 million in institutional funding by 2032.
✔ Expand faculty and administrative teams by 50% to support student growth.
✔ Develop self-sustaining revenue streams to ensure continued tuition-free education.
