At Dubois College, we believe in providing an accessible, tuition-free education for all students who are ready to advance their academic and professional futures.
Our flexible admissions process allows students to enroll in any of our three 16-week semesters: Spring (January – May), Summer (May – August), and Fall (September – December).
With three admission cycles per year, students can start their educational journey at a time that best suits their schedule and personal commitments.
Admission Requirements
To apply for a degree or certificate program at Dubois College, applicants must meet specific criteria. Students must be at least 16 years old by the start of the semester.
A high school diploma, GED, homeschool certification, or at least 24 transferable college credits from an accredited institution is required.
Since all courses are taught in English, non-native English speakers must demonstrate English proficiency.
This can be done by submitting a diploma or transcript from an institution where English was the primary language of instruction, providing an approved English proficiency test score (such as TOEFL, IELTS, or Duolingo English Test), or enrolling in Dubois College’s English as a Second Language (ESL) Program.
For students who do not yet have a high school diploma, Dubois College offers a GED Preparation Program to help them earn an equivalency before enrolling in a degree program.
Non-native English speakers who require language support can enroll in our ESL Program before beginning coursework.
Application Deadlines
Dubois College follows a rolling admission process; however, students must apply before the priority deadline for their chosen semester to secure early access to academic advising, course selection, and priority consideration for scholarships and financial aid.
For Spring semester, the application opens in September, with a priority deadline in mid-November and a final deadline in mid-December. Classes begin in January.
For Summer semester, applications open in January, with a priority deadline in mid-March and a final deadline in mid-April. Classes begin in May.
For Fall semester, the application period starts in May, with a priority deadline in mid-July and a final deadline in mid-August. Classes begin in September.
Late applications may be considered on a case-by-case basis, but students are encouraged to apply early for the best experience.
How to Apply
Applying to Dubois College is simple and completely free. Students must first submit an online application through our website.
They must then upload required documents, including transcripts and proof of English proficiency if applicable.
Before full enrollment, all new students must complete Dubois College’s Foundations Program, an introductory course designed to help students transition into online learning.

Audit Courses: Learn Without the Pressure
For students who wish to take courses for personal enrichment, professional development, or knowledge-building without earning credit, Dubois College offers an audit option.

Audit students have the flexibility to explore subjects that interest them without worrying about grades or academic performance.
This is ideal for lifelong learners, professionals looking to expand their knowledge, or students considering future enrollment in a full degree program.
