Associate of Arts in Real Estate & Insurance

The Associate of Arts in Real Estate & Insurance at Dubois College is a forward-thinking program
that provides students with essential knowledge and skills to navigate the real estate and insurance
industries with a focus on community empowerment, asset protection, and economic equity.
Grounded in historical and contemporary perspectives on wealth disparity, this program is designed
to cultivate agents of change who understand how to use real estate and insurance as tools for
liberation, sustainability, and legacy-building in Black communities.

Students will explore property ownership, fair housing law, real estate markets, risk management,
and insurance policy design. Emphasis is placed on ethical practices, financial literacy, and
community-centered advising. The program also prepares students for pre-licensure in real estate or
